Me, Isabelle Pearcey

"Work, home or play — for me, it’s about leaving it better than when I arrived"

Striving for balance in both work and lifestyle is key for me and my clients. Of course, it’s ever-levelling and adjustments are daily.

For me, this flux state translates into searching for new ways to deliver excellence through a high-quality virtual assistant service – and one that empowers others to achieve.

I’m ever-growing a deeply connected community of like-minded individuals with whom I proudly collaborate, and who support each other in business.

Balance also plays into who I am – one part professional problem-solver with an international corporate background, the other part team-spirited, empathetic and caring.

A WORLD OF EXPERIENCE

My senior-level EA administration and office management expertise draws on over two decades of experience. Over half of this was gained servicing international and managing partners at law firms and at a premium global drinks company.

This wealth of know-how brings agility and confidence – essential in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, and in developing effective relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Izz Whizz VA launched in early 2023, operating remotely from my office in North Somerset, UK.

I work with individuals, solopreneurs as well as small to medium-sized charities and businesses – an inspiring mix that adds to my personal and business growth.

I pride myself on being the go-to VEA and trade mark formalities specialist among my networks. With plenty of advocates, business frequently comes through word of mouth.

  • With a Russian degree and a case full of dried foods (don’t ask), aged 20, I tentatively travelled on a one-way ticket to Russia, alone. I taught English to adults and children of all ages; paid and voluntary.

Later, I put into practice my administration experience in Russian and Eastern European markets, during a five-year tenure as Executive Assistant to a senior Partner/Head of Russia Practice at two global law firms. The Head invited me to join her at another global law firm and to be instrumental in establishing a new Russia practice.

  • Prior to this, I had spent a few years heading up the Renewals section within a Trade Mark and Brand Protection Group at a European law firm in London. I managed renewal and post-registration maintenance of a large varied worldwide client portfolio. I was key to growing the service delivery and effectively oversaw a small team.

How am I different?

In work and in life, I promote a people-first culture. My focus is building good, long-lasting, trusting relationships.

To fulfil my role to the highest standards, it’s vital to get to know you as a person and a professional. I become truly invested in your business. This is how we succeed.

Making a difference

Giving back is of great importance to me. I undertake pro bono charity assignments each year. In 2023, I volunteered at Unicornfest in Bristol in support of Leukaemia Care. In 2024-25, I’m supporting The Arukah Project with planning their first ever annual conference.

Izz Whizz VA prioritises sustainable and eco-conscious suppliers and organisations.

You need someone who can

  • intelligently nurture your business as if it were theirs

  • comfortably take a high-level overview

  • proactively find solutions

  • instinctively think two steps ahead

  • wisely make decisions in your absence

  • naturally, build long-term relationships

  • implicitly respect the highest levels of confidentiality

  • confidently self-manage, gatekeep and manage your time

  • considerately implement systems and improvements

  • happily take on small tasks, too.

That’s where I come in

Today, I’m your sounding board – we’ll identify what support you need, where you need it, and how to migrate work to me. I can also help you work out what to outsource and show you ways of delegating effectively.
